Presenting our 3rd Bus Tour to  New York for the NYCRUNS Big Apple Half Marathon & 5k plus Christmas Shopping Tour 2023.

NYCRUNS invites you to take part in the 2023 Big Apple Half Marathon & 5k. The races will take you on a wintry tour of Central Park’s rolling hills and give you a last chance to set that half marathon PR in 2023. The Half starts on West Drive near 96th Street, completing about two and a half loops of the park across 72nd Street and up Harlem Hill before finishing on the 102nd Street transverse. Race fees are not included in the tour cost. 5k start time is 8.00am and Half Marathon starts at 9.00am.

One of our favorite trips of the year taking in the amazing city of New York at Christmas time with an opportunity to run Central Park in either a Half Marathon or 5k. Having done this race twice I can say with certainty that this is a fantastic way to see the park in all its glory in winter.

Our bus will shuttle us into the city on race day and will transfer us each day for our sightseeing and shopping.

Our host hotel the Hyatt Place – Yonkers is attached to the Cross County Shopping Center with a wide choice of shops and restaurants all within walking distance including Red Lobster, Applebees, Longhorn Steakhouse, TGI Fridays, Panera Bread and many, many more. There is also a supermarket within an easy walk. Downtown Yonkers is 3 miles away. Start your day with our hotel’s Free Gallery Kitchen Breakfast, featuring daily, customizable breakfast bowls and Greek yogurt parfaits

A $100.00 deposit will secure your place on the tour with the final balance being on 1 October 2023.

 A Fuel Surcharge may apply based on diesel fuel rates if the price goes above $1.35 per litre = 5% increase and 7.5% above $1.45 per litre.
