We are pleased to launch our first bus tour down to Philadelphia for the Marathon weekend in November taking in the 8k, Half and Full Marathon on the weekend. We will have 4 nights in the Staybridge Suites in Mount Laurel based on Bed & Breakfast and all rooms have a full kitchenette.

We raced Philadelphia Marathon and Half back in 2010 and had a great weekend in the City of Brotherly Love and were really pleasantly surprised by the number and size of the parkland in the city and the number museums. We are excited to offer our first bus tour down to Philly for Marathon Weekend. Out hotel will be the Staybridge Suites in Mount Laurel which is roughly 12 miles outside Philadelphia with a variety of restaurants nearby.

Prices = $879.00 Canadian per person based on twin or double occupancy and based on 20 paying passengers. $100.00 deposit to secure your place.

A beautiful course, an engaging atmosphere—it’s no wonder we’re consistently listed among the top ten courses in the country, recognized for our flat terrain, mellow weather and spirited fans.

Expect beautiful views through Fairmount Park and along the Schuylkill River and neighborhood crowds gathering on sidewalks in University City and Manayunk. Weave through the well-traveled streets of our historic district, passing sights familiar to Franklin, Washington and the rest of the gang, and end your race speeding towards the steps of the majestic Art Museum.

Digital splits are provided at the 10K, 13.1 mile and 30K marks along the course, and fluid stations and spectator overlooks are set up throughout the course.

Oh, that’s another thing: the fans. You’d better get ready for the crowds, because each year, thousands of spectators line the course eager to cheer on runners. There’s nothing we love more in this town than a champion…all 30,000 of them.

In the event that the CDN dollar continues to decline against the USD and the rate declines beyond $1.45 we may add a currency surcharge onto the tour costs.

All prices are per person. $100.00 per person refundable deposit required at the time of booking up to 01 May. After 01 May if the tour does not operate we will refund your $100.00 but after this date if we have a minimum of 20 passengers the $100.00 will become non-refundable. Balance due 8 weeks prior to departure on Thursday 22 September 2016. Minimum 20 paying passengers required for this group departure otherwise pricing may be affected. Refunds cannot be issued due to injury. Once deposit / balance is paid all claims must be made through a Travel Insurance policy.

Fuel surcharge: Given the volatility of fuel prices we may need to readjust the cost estimate as the travel date approaches. If diesel fuel rate exceeds $1.39 per litre we will add a 5% fuel surcharge to the cost of the tour and if diesel fuel rate exceeds $1.46 per liter we will add 7.5% fuel surcharge to this tour cost (as advised by bus company). In the event the CDN dollar continues to decline against the USD and the rates declines beyond 1.45 we may add a currency surcharge onto the tour costs to offset the difference between tour price above and difference in currency rates at time of tour costing on 26 January 2016.
