We took advantage of our annual vacation in December 13 to visit Las Vegas, Tucson & Scottsdale. Its always important as a Travel Agent to keep abreast of all the latest improvements and renovations in a city that changes as quickly as Vegas so I think we actually visited every hotel on the Strip and a few more. Below is a list of all the properties we visited and in many cases we were shown bedrooms in each of the hotels which was a great idea as the first impression of a hotel may be based on the visual impression of their casino but the character of the hotel may vary enormously from the casino area. Its almost as though you have to separate the 2 features even though they share the same building. Please contact Helena and Vision Travel when you are next planning your trip to Nevada or Arizona. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Scottsdale, particularly the lovely and diverse Old Town area with wonderful restaurants, quaint shops and river walks. Scottsdale is part of a bigger urban area also taking in Phoenix, Mesa, Tempe and Chandler and each have their own unique personality. Despite the urban sprawl its a wonderful area for outdoor enthusiasts with great trail walks, miles of cycling trails, world class golf, fabulous resort style hotels and of course year round warm weather. The temperature hit 83 degrees on our visit in mid-December. Please contact us for more detailed information or help with planning your itinerary.
